Daily cleaning method for pure cotton plain hand towels

1. Basic cleaning steps
Rinse the pure cotton plain hand towels with clean water and dry them immediately after use to avoid yellowing caused by sweat stains and grease residues. Wash thoroughly every 3-4 days to avoid bacterial growth. If used frequently or in a humid environment, it is recommended to shorten the cycle. When washing, neutral laundry detergent or baby-specific detergent is preferred to avoid excessive alkalinity that damages cotton fibers. Use 30-40℃ warm water when washing, which can effectively dissolve stains and avoid shrinkage or fading caused by high temperature.

2. Precautions for hand washing and machine washing
When washing manually, focus on cleaning easily dirty areas (such as edges) to avoid strong twisting to cause deformation. During machine washing, you can use a laundry bag to prevent friction pilling or hooking, select the gentle mode and shorten the dehydration time (no more than 1 minute). Plain hand towels should be washed separately or paired with clothes of the same color to prevent staining.

3. Disinfection and deodorization
Put the towel in boiling water for 10 minutes every week to kill bacteria and mites, or fold the wet towel and put it in the microwave, heat it on high heat for 5 minutes, and sterilize it with high-temperature steam. When washing, you can add white vinegar to clean water and soak it for 15 minutes, then sprinkle baking soda and rub it, double decontamination and sterilization.

4. Drying and maintenance
Pure cotton plain towels should be hung in a ventilated place to dry naturally, avoiding direct sunlight that causes fiber hardening or fading. Do not fold and store towels that are not completely dry to prevent mold growth. Soak them in light salt water (1 spoon of salt + warm water) for 10 minutes every month to neutralize hard water minerals and restore the fluffy feeling.
